Agora Prime establishes rigorous global supply chain standards to combat forced labour, financial crime

September 17, 2026

Agora Prime Metals Trading, a Dubai-based metals trading firm, has issued a Supply Chain Commitment Statement which sets out mandatory ethical, environmental, and regulatory standards for all parties involved in the company's supply chain.

It has drawn out four critical commitments that apply to all counterparties without exception:

Human Rights & Labour: Complete prohibition of child and forced labour, alongside requirements for safe working conditions, fair statutory wages, and anti-discrimination hiring practices.

Environmental Responsibility: Requirements for resource efficiency, emission reductions, hazardous waste controls, and full compliance with regional environmental laws.

Business Ethics: Absolute zero tolerance for bribery, facilitation payments, or kickbacks, backed by complete financial auditability.

Financial Crime Prevention: Mandatory Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols, international sanctions screening, and immediate reporting of suspicious activities to regulators.

Additional scrutiny is applied to precious metals trading, as these markets carry elevated risk. Suppliers in this segment must provide evidence of the origin of the material and support a verifiable chain of custody, demonstrate compliance with the precious metals regulations applicable to them, submit to periodic audit, and satisfy enhanced due diligence in higher-risk regions.

The company warned that non-compliant partners face immediate suspension and mandatory corrective action. Persistent or severe violations will result in relationship termination and potential legal action.
