Agora reaffirms zero-tolerance policy on bribery and corruption across its operations

June 1, 2026

UAE-based Agora Prime Metals Trading has officially enacted its Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy, and reiterated the absolute zero-tolerance stance on corrupt business practices across all global markets.

The company strictly bans all forms of bribery, secret commissions, and kickbacks involving both public officials and private counterparties, including facilitation payments. The policy is non-negotiable and applies to directors, employees, contractors, agents, and supply chain partners alike.

“We expect the same standards from those we do business with as we hold ourselves to,” Agora said in a statement.

As for gifts and hospitality, the company acknowledges the possibility of modest, transparent corporate hospitality in line with regional customs, but considers gifts and services offered during active tender processes or contract negotiations non-permissible.

To maintain compliance, Agora Prime mandates annual anti-bribery risk assessments, alongside mandatory due diligence and sanctions screening for all third-party vendors. High-risk commercial contracts will now routinely include explicit anti-bribery covenants and company audit rights.

The metals trading company has also established confidential internal and external reporting channels, backed by explicit protections against retaliation for good-faith whistleblowers.
