Palladium sponge is a porous, finely divided form of the metal with a purity of 99.95%, produced by chemical reduction of refined salts. Its high surface area makes it the preferred input for catalyst manufacture and for melting into mill products. Material ships in sealed containers, weighed and sampled under witness.
