International metals trader Agora Prime Metals Trading, based in the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), has released a comprehensive compliance statement outlining stringent measures against money laundering, terrorist financing, proliferation financing, and international sanctions evasion.
The policy enforces multi-tiered Know Your Client (KYC) requirements across all counterparties, including buyers, suppliers, brokers, and banks. Transactions are subjected to continuous sanctions screening against the UN Security Council Consolidated List and the UAE Local Terrorist List.
Agora Prime strictly prohibits relationships involving shell banks, anonymous accounts, or entities on global sanctions lists. Any connection to high-risk jurisdictions or Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) will automatically trigger mandatory Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) and direct CEO oversight.
The company reports to the UAE Financial Intelligence Unit and to its supervisory authority through the goAML platform, and cooperates fully with law enforcement and competent authorities, providing requested data and access to its records.
